Graduation Program (Muqtaṣar) – Maulavi ‘Ālim Irfānī

Madrasa Noorul Irfan Arabic College offers a distinguished Eight-Year Graduation Program, culminating in the esteemed degree of “Maulavi ‘Ālim Irfānī” (Muqtaṣar) for those who successfully complete the rigorous curriculum. This program is meticulously designed to impart a profound understanding of Islamic sciences and the transformative wisdom of ‘Ilm-u-Tasawwuf’, fostering both intellectual enlightenment and spiritual refinement in its students.

Post-Graduation Program (Mutaḥawwal) – Maulavi Fāḍil Irfānī

Duration: 2 years

The institution also provides an advanced two-year Post-Graduation Program, known as “Maulavi Fāḍil Irfānī” (Mutaḥawwal). This program further enriches the knowledge acquired in the undergraduate curriculum, equipping scholars with the necessary expertise to serve as leaders, scholars, and advocates of divine wisdom, actively contributing to their communities with moral integrity and erudition.

Integrated Da‘wah Program – Harmonizing Modern Education with ‘Ilm-u-Tasawwuf’

The Da‘wah Course at Madrasa Noorul Irfan Arabic College presents a holistic educational framework that seamlessly integrates contemporary academics with the sacred knowledge of ‘Ilm-u-Tasawwuf’. This initiative extends from Plus One (Class 11) to postgraduate studies, offering:

  • Higher Secondary Programs: Commerce & Humanities
  • Undergraduate Degrees: B. Com, B.A. in History, B.A. in Arabic
  • Postgraduate Degrees: M. Com, M.A. in Arabic
  • Vocational Courses: Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA), Tally

Uniquely, students enrolled in these programs are privileged to concurrently pursue the “Maulavi ‘Ālim Irfānī Muqtaṣar” Course at Madrasa Noorul Irfan Arabic College, ensuring that they attain both worldly knowledge and spiritual depth in harmony. Takhaṣṣuṣ: One-Year Specialization Program in ‘Ilm-u-Tasawwuf’

This intensive one-year Takhaṣṣuṣ program is meticulously structured upon the seminal works of great Sufi luminaries, including:

  • Aḥmad Kabīr Rifā‘ī (Q.S)

This program offers participants direct access to the esteemed library (Khuṭub Khāna) of Madrasa Noorul Irfan Arabic College, allowing for an authentic study of the fundamental tenets of ‘Ilm-u-Tasawwuf’, guided by the illuminating wisdom of these venerated scholars.

CORE CURRICULUM
  • Islamic Sciences: A comprehensive study encompassing ‘Aqīdah, Fiqh, Uṣūl al-Qur’ān, Tafsīr, Ḥadīth, Ṣarf, and Naḥw, Tajwīd, Islamic History alongside various other branches of Islamic knowledge. Most importantly, the curriculum includes the authentic stream of ‘Ilm-u-Tasawwuf’, guiding students towards a deeper understanding of spiritual purification and moral excellence.
  • Complementary Subjects: A balanced inclusion of English, Computer Skills and Physical Training, all aimed at fostering a well-rounded individual who excels in both spiritual and worldly pursuits, in accordance with Islamic values.

Advanced Islamic Disciplines: A profound engagement with Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, Al-Ta‘arruf, and Adhwānī, complemented by comprehensive studies in Theology and Jurisprudence (Fiqh), aimed at nurturing scholarly excellence and a deep understanding of Islamic principles.

Mappilapāṭṭu Padhana Shibhiram: One-Year Specialized Course in Mappila Poetry

In preserving the rich literary and cultural heritage of the Mappila tradition, Madrasa Noorul Irfan Arabic College has recently introduced a one-year intensive program titled “Mappilapāṭṭu Padhana Shibhiram”, conducted by esteemed scholars in the field.

This program is designed to provide a profound understanding of the principles governing the construction of Mappila poetry, offering insights into its linguistic, historical, and artistic dimensions. By fostering an appreciation of this illustrious tradition, the course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to the preservation and advancement of Mappila poetic heritage.
