Charitable Endeavors

During the devastating floods that struck Kerala in 2018, Madrasa Noorul Irfan Arabic College played a pivotal role in providing relief and rehabilitation support to over 3,000 families for more than a month, aiding their transition back to normalcy. The institution coordinated the procurement and distribution of essential supplies, including food, shelter, and other necessities, mobilized from various parts of the country.

This remarkable humanitarian initiative profoundly impacted the supporters of the institution, inspiring the establishment of a nonprofit organization by a group of dedicated well-wishers. Committed to continuing this legacy of social service, the organization has been instrumental in providing food supplies and essential materials to thousands of families in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep during critical times, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the devastation caused by Cyclone Ockhi. Their unwavering dedication continues to serve as a lifeline for many vulnerable families today.

Furthering its commitment to community welfare, Madrasa Noorul Irfan Arabic College, in collaboration with the above stated NGO, organized a medical awareness camp in Kochi in 2024, benefiting over 600 underserved individuals. Building upon this initiative, a large-scale medical camp was conducted in 2025 at Androth Island, Union Territory of Lakshadweep, in partnership with the above-mentioned NGO and renowned hospitals. The camp featured specialists from three esteemed hospitals in Cochin, providing medical services to 1,700 patients and distributing free medicines. In addition to on-site consultations, house visits were conducted to ensure follow-up care. Organized in collaboration with the Administration of Lakshadweep, this initiative significantly reduced the need for residents to travel to the mainland for medical treatment, underscoring the vital importance of accessible healthcare services in remote regions.
